Friday, the end of the week. I didn't have any particular plans, but when I contacted a friend, they seemed eager to go out for drinks. At that moment, I was in Roppommatsu. After searching for a good place nearby, I found "Nonchan," located just next to Roppommatsu Station. When I called to inquire, they mentioned that a table might become available soon and would contact me once it did. Just about five minutes later, I received a call saying a table was ready. It seems to be a popular spot. I arrived at the reserved time, and since only the counter was available, we took our seats there. They seemed to have a strong focus on yakitori, with a wide variety of options. We also ordered some quick bites, a few side dishes, and seafood, all of which were delicious. The yakitori, in particular, was grilled right in front of us over charcoal, making it fragrant and juicy. Another favorite was the "thick asparagus tempura." It was indeed thick asparagus, with a crispy exterior and a sweet flavor that really came through from the inside. The staff were friendly, and I felt like I had discovered a great place. It was a night where I unusually praised myself for finding such a gem.
